The short list for the fillies' nursery consists of La Roca, Steam Cuisine and Blithe, with the vote going to La Roca. La Roca was considered good enough to run in the Albany Stakes at Royal Ascot so should be much more at home at this level and can go well racing in a first-time tongue tie. Miss Jenny was well held in the Lowther Stakes but then won well on the all-weather and could go well. Steam Cuisine rates as progressive, having won her last two races and she is very much respected. World's Heroine won well at York last time and is respected, while Morinqua and Regal Quest both improved to win last time but may need to keep that improvement coming in order to score. Baltic Belle's mark rates as fair enough and she certainly deserves to win a race, while Blithe looked unlucky at Haydock last time and rates as one for serious consideration. Finally, in a first-time visor, Only Hope is not without a chance off a feather weight, and Fractured Foxy has won three of her last four and, even though two of those have been sellers, she is not without hope. Overall, though, the vote stays with La Roca.
