Verdict

This looks tight with all of these rated within 2lb of each other. Saying that, Mayfield Boy and Russian Remarque have run below par on their last couple of outings. Argot and Djinni were not at their best on their respective seasonal debuts and both step up in trip while Beverley 7f winner Flycatcher was far from convincing when attempting a mile at Thirsk last time. By contrast, SHE'S GORGEOUS stayed today's trip well when a close-up fourth at Nottingham and the Fanshawe filly may come out best in this given she's perfectly at home in soft ground.
