SHIFTING STAR is taken to maintain both his and his stable's momentum and claim this sprint handicap, with Noverre To Go, Angus Newz and Imperial Guest the likely contenders. Noverre To Go has run well on both his starts this season and looks progressive. He was placed in what looked a solid Ascot handicap last time, and can go well again here. Angus Newz ran well here last time, and though seven, a reproduction of that effort can see him go close, while Imperial Guest's win at Brighton has worked out well and he should not be discounted. Shifting Star was a good second at Newbury recently, and remains well treated, surprisingly being dropped a pound. The yard had a good winner at Sandown on Thursday, and Shifting Star can gain a deserved success.
