GIANT SLALOM has run 16 times over a variety of distances since scoring from 4lbs lower over 6f here last March. He is probably better at around this trip nowadays and his last two efforts at Gowran and the Curragh suggest he is still well enough treated to land this under a very competent youngster. Lady Montague made her handicap debut at Naas earlier this month and gained a surprise victory though a 10lbs rise in the weights may prevent a quick follow-up. Inwood doesn't win often enough and connections won't be pleased with a 4lbs rise for finishing runner-up to Enigma Code at Dundalk though he had already slipped to a fair mark and is undoubtedly well handicapped at his best. The lightly-raced Buaiteoir, who finished third, looks held and this will be his first start away from Polytrack. Camira ran very well behind Duaiseoir at Gowran but is just looking a couple of pounds high at present.
