Carefree Smile was encountering fast ground for the first time when a close fifth to Vivacious Vivienne at Navan and ran well enough to suggest she can get involved in this. Paul Nolan has engaged an apprentice to take 5lbs off Mountain Pride's big weight and that should enable his charge to produce another big run after his fine fourth behind Book Of Numbers at Gowran. Ceannline had a length to spare over DESERT ROMANCE over a mile at Wexford but the runner-up is 4lbs better off and was staying on so strongly that he can take his revenge and get back to winning ways. Johnny Murtagh was on board Charminamix when his mount scored by a head over 1m3f at Dundalk last time and the combination is sure to come in for support again.
