A trappy affair but INTERCEPT wouldn't be the first Gosden inmate to make a successful foray into handicap company on the back of a debut maiden success. The colt only came home by a neck at Kempton but was never going to be beaten despite running green. He'll improve bundles for the run and can score off an acceptable mark against primarily exposed sorts. The booking of Ryan Moore increases confidence. Ruth Carr and Ed de Giles have done splendid jobs this term in relighting the fires of Beckermet and Mingun Bell respectively and both should go well in their current moods. Rossetti is a potential improver, whilst River Falcon harbours each-way claims as he continues to show decent form despite advancing years.
