Far less solid form on display in this division with NO COMPROMISE setting the standard following decent efforts in fair maiden company at Kempton and Salisbury, notably when beaten a nose by Medieval Bishop last time. The Morrison yard is ending the turf season in good heart and their filly looks the safest option. Godolphin are enjoying a typically strong finish to the campaign and Salacia looks set to build on a promising Yarmouth debut when seemingly unfancied. There are plenty of interesting newcomers, as is usually the case in end-of-season Newmarket maidens, who could spoil the party, with Heyaaraat, The Fugue, Al Baidaa and Cape Crossing all catching the eye. Richard Hannon's Santarini must surely be better than her nondescript Goodwood debut back in July.
