Oranmore Castle is rated the selection here, but Sound Breeze, Guildenstern and Maggie Jordan all hold possibilities in this back-end maiden. The selection showed plenty of promise on his debut when second at Newbury six weeks ago and, despite the fact that the form of the race has not exactly worked out, he should improve for that effort and, overall, his credentials suggest that the son of Giant's Causeway should go well. Puya also showed promise on his debut, at Windsor, where he was four-and-a-quarter lengths ahead of Guildenstern, and rates a big danger to the selection. The $120,000 dollar purchase, Maggie Jordan, a daughter of Fusaichi Pegasus, is very interesting although today's trip is sure to prove short of her best. Tito Gofirst's dam won the Cherry Hinton, so he certainly produces interest, and Sound Breeze, another son of Giant's Causeway, also warrants serious consideration being from the powerful Mark Johnston yard, while Guildenstern chance cannot be dismissed despite looking held by Puya, given that the pair of them are proven on soft. Topatoo is maybe one to look out for in the betting, but there was a lot to like about the debut performance of the Oranmore Castle who, once again, gets the call.
