Firenze does not look badly treated and can bounce back to land the finale at the expense of Don't Tell Mum, Halle Bop and Sierra Vista. Firenze, a half-sister to the stable's Frizzante, has a 50 percent strike-rate at present, having won three of her six races to date. She is a six-furlong specialist, and although beaten at York last time, she was only two-lengths adrift of the winner at the line. She has worked well since, and with the Fanshawe yard in good form at present, we take her to come out on top. Don't Tell Mum won so easily at Kempton last time that she must be considered although this is her hardest test, while Halle Bop ran a blinder when second at Goodwood and the drop back in trip could turn out to be a shrewd move by Saeed bin Suroor. Sierra Vista was up there until the final furlong in the Ayr Gold Cup and if that has not left it's mark she can also be involved, but we reckon that Firenze can improve enough to be Listed class in time, and she is a strong fancy today.
