      Verdict

      Chola Empire is still looking for a first win on Turf but wasn’t beaten far when fourth at Goodwood with both Bass Player and Mitrosonfire finishing further behind. Urban Sprawl won at the latter track before placing over a longer trip in the Britannia at Ascot a week ago and can figure again but the vote goes to FINAL WATCH. The latter was sent off favourite on the Rowley Mile last month but nothing went to plan when failing to settle and losing both front shoes. Bill Stone’s charge gets another chance dropping down in class for this.
