Verdict

CROWNING started favourite at Yarmouth on her reappearance but failed to get a clear run and could only manage third. She’ll be sharper today and can go close with granted better luck in-running. Spring Dawn was beaten by a less-fancied stablemate when failing to land the odds on the Rowley Mile here last month while Satirical drops back down in trip after placing over a mile at Newbury. The latter sports her owner’s first colours ahead of the newcomer Glistened while Midsummer Music looks best of the rest on a recent fourth at Chepstow.
