Firenze may have been let in lightly here and gets the decision ahead of Jalissa and Yomola. James Fanshawe's filly has only seen the racecourse on two occasions and improved on her debut effort to beat Stargem at Southwell last July. She gave her rivals plenty of start but still managed to win by three-quarters of a length. She could turn out to be much better than that bare form suggests and on that assumption she could be thrown in here. Yomalo is a consistent sort and should be in with place chances although she may find it difficult to give a stone to our selection. Jalissa won well at Salisbury last time and as with Firenze she looks certain to progress. The pick of the remainder could be Baron Rhodes but if Firenze is fit following her long break she should be capable of taking this prize.
