Profitable is on the upgrade, and can account for the likes of Quantum, Aphorism, and Gee Dee Nen, in an open finale. Profitable has been tried over a variety of trips already in her short career, but there is no doubt that her future lies over staying distances, and she did post a pleasing performance when accounting for the more fancied Red Gala on Kempton's Polytrack 10 days ago. This extra two furlongs will be in her favour, and the Barry Hills-trained filly can pay to support again. Quantum won over 10 furlongs here in July, and has been steadily upped in trip. She shapes as though she will stay and is worth a try here. Aphorism is a half-sister to several winners but has looked pace-less so far. She could turn out to be attractively handicapped though, so should be noted in the market. Gee Dee Nen always has a habit of finding one or two too good, but it would be no surprise if he were to be in the frame again. All in all, the progressive Profitable makes most appeal and is the pick.
