Silver Samurai was a ready winner over this trip at Redcar last month and Windsor winner Sea Trout Reach possibly saw too much daylight when beaten over 1m2f at Sandown. Dashing Roger beat a subsequent winner at Yarmouth before failing to cope with a drop back to 7f here earlier in the month. INHALATION is still on an upward curve and was only headed in the dying strides last time at Newbury. He is by Bated Breath so there is a slight doubt about this extra furlong but he boasts the best recent form on offer. None of the others can be ignored, though Hot Summer would have preferred faster going.
