Verdict

MISTER BRIGHTSIDE landed a lower grade handicap here last month then found a step-up in class and a 6lb rise against him when tackling 6f on a return visit. He didn't get the best of runs that day and is capable of improvement so can gain compensation. Beardwood tackles this trip for the first time but his overall form gives him an obvious chance and he was tackling higher class here a couple of weeks ago. Chevallier completed his hat-trick at Sandown a week ago for which he is penalised. That was over a mile but this is his trip as he showed on his two previous starts and he'll be a big danger. Easy Tiger has won three of his seven races and only just failed to reel in Akeed Champion here two weeks ago while Field Game has invariably run at a higher level and has rarely been disgraced.
