In depth

Verdict

Lady Correspondent is stoutly-bred and should win races over middle-distances next season but may not have the pace for this. Hana Lina shouldn't be far away, however, as she has more speed in her pedigree than her siblings Prince Of Stars and Abu Nayef. The Rip Van Winkle filly Kip will be popular given connections and fellow newcomers Shasag and Twitch should also be monitored. Marco Botti isn't one to over-extend his juveniles and his ALFAJER is a half-sister to the useful Taayel so she shouldn't be short of speed - she gets a tentative vote.
