Another tricky puzzle to solve but First Dance has won twice over course and distance, latterly in a higher grade. Thermal also arrives in good form but Gert Lush has gone off the boil a little since winning at Goodwood in June and Rose Grey will probably need her first run for a new yard. New Heights has gone up 3lb for winning at Newbury and was behind MILLE MIGLIA (NAP) at Bath earlier. Clive Cox’ filly is heading in the right direction and is weighted to reverse Leicester form with Atavique, who won here subsequently. Water Iris usually finds at least one too good but there may be more to come from Shaikhena now handicapping.
