Zagato is closely matched with HEADINGLEY on their run together at Doncaster in June. The latter was badly impeded at Thirsk last time and eased so that run can be ignored. He’s been gelded since and it would be no surprise to see him bounce back here in a wide-open handicap. Tasfeeq has struggled in handicaps since winning at Bath in the spring but Elvrika’s Yarmouth second received a boost when the winner followed up at York last week and Captain Cooper is usually thereabouts. Cosmos Raj is thriving and also makes the shortlist having won in a higher grade at Ripon last time.
