    Verdict

Richard Hannon won this valuable sales race last year with Zebedee and relies on Salisbury scorer Jacob Cats this time around. The colt is improving so can't be discounted but the form book points to SAMITAR. Mick Channon's filly was relatively unfancied for the Group 3 Albany Stakes at Royal Ascot but ran out a comfortable winner under Jamie Spencer, who keeps the ride here. She has entries in most of the big two-year-old races in the autumn and is likely to start at restrictive odds for this. Balty Boys had Orders From Rome behind when winning at Newbury last month but then disappointed in the Acomb at York, while Mehdi appears to have plenty to find at the weights and this is also a big ask for Epsom runner-up Chapter Seven.
