        Verdict

        With a mark of 108, CABLE BAY is clear on official ratings. He deserves to pick up a nice prize after good efforts in the Gimcrack and then the Champagne Stakes at Doncaster earlier this month so Charlie Hills' colt gets the vote. Miracle Of Medinah and Nezar have a bit to find with the selection on collateral form while, strictly on the book, Mawfoor should get the better of the unbeaten Silent Bullet. Championship was a let-down in the Coventry at Ascot back in June and it remains to be seen if God Willing is good enough at this level after winning on his racecourse debut at Newbury last month.
