Jedeydd is selected in the finale ahead of Albadi, Fearby Cross and Iced Diamond. Michael Dods' yard have been firing on all cylinders in the last couple of days and while this ex-inmate of Ben Hanbury's has proved incredibly frustrating to folow, he has dropped significantly in the weights and Tom Queally has been booked for the mount. Fearby Cross is perhaps a better betting proposition over six furlongs but he does get on well with Lisa Jones so the market is watched this afternoon. Albadi won a desperate maiden handicap at Brighton. There could be more to come from such a lowly mark. Iced Diamond is an Amanda Perrett cast off now plying his trade with Mark Brisbourne. He is much better than his recent run at Newbury suggests and should have come on for that first run for four months. Branston Tiger produced a better effort at Redcar on firm ground. He has been off for a month since and the blinkers are applied for the first time. Balerno has been competing largely on the polytrack at Lingfield and has a decent apprentice booked. A tricky finale for punters with Jedeydd given the tentative selection.
