Cape won well last time, but so did Baby Strange and he is nominated to get the better of Phantom Whisper. Cape did beat Baby Strange at Doncaster but our selection has gone on from that and there was plenty to like about the way he wore down Holbeck Ghyll to score last time out. This fast ground is ideal for him and he can run another big race. Cape is the obvious alternative but she only just beat our selection last time and we think Baby Strange has improved since then. Phantom Whisper was an eyecatcher at Ascot last time when he was given plenty to do, but he made great strides to chase the first two home without quite getting to them, but his finish took him well clear of the rest. He can go well here, along with Chris Wall's Premio Loco who scored in decent fashion last time. However, a safer bet looks to be Baby Strange who gets the nod.
