Crotchet has been in good form at Musselburgh winning two of her last three starts and makes more appeal than Fondest, who sports the same colours. Bubble And Squeak won over a longer trip here last month and is upped in class along with Lingfield maiden winner Contrive and also Jousi. Ortiz ran below par in a classified event at Ascot last time though won a handicap at Kempton before that but the progressive HIGHLAND PASS (NAP) is preferred. An earlier winner at Salisbury, she defied a rise in the weights to score a shade cosily over track and trip last month and Andrew Balding’s filly may not have finished improving yet.
