Despite missing the break, Benbatl was only beaten a short-head by Lavender’s Blue in the Celebration Mile at Goodwood and should again beat Pogo and Perotto given that was his first run in 11 months. Sir Busker hasn’t won this year but is a tough and genuine miler who would have place claims again. Laneqash hasn’t done a lot wrong in two runs this year but is taking on smart opposition on his first try over a mile. MASTER OF THE SEAS (NAP) has run four times at HQ with his only defeat coming when just failing to overhaul Poetic Flare in the 2000 Guineas in May. He hasn’t run since but will handle any give in the ground and appears to go well fresh so is the one to beat.
