      Verdict

      PLUTOCRACY went close on the all-weather last time but gets the vote on his two length defeat on the July course here back in May in a Class 2 handicap. He is preferred on that form to the veteran Starluck, who beat Golden Jubilee a neck at Epsom earlier in the month while the latter had Field Of Light back in third when scoring at Wolverhampton during the summer. Compton Bird went close off today's mark at Epsom in July and is not out of this either.
