        Verdict

        Three of the previous four winners have sported Godolphin colours so it would be no surprise if Rare Rhythm posted a better effort on his first start since May. Peterhof has returned a losing favourite the last twice but this longer trip may bring further improvement though KNIGHT OF WANDS has nothing to prove over today's distance. He won a Newbury maiden in testing ground over 1m4f last month and handled a faster surface on his earlier debut when second at Haydock. The remainder are more exposed with Pontefract winner Hernandoshideaway failing to cope in this grade at York last time finishing well behind the runner-up Not Never and Putting Green but Captain Navarre is usually thereabouts and preferred to Rhythmical.
