Oeuf A La Neige is the only Derby entrant in this weakish field and is taken by TEAMtalk to land this Class D maiden. Well-bred (by Danehill out of a Kris mare), he will need every yard of this seven furlong trip but with the opposition not looking that strong he should have little problem scoring here especially since his half-brother also won on his debut. Best of the raced horses looks to be Financial Future who has put in two decent efforts on softish ground. He may be better suited to the underfoot conditions here and could go close. Mezuzah is a typically well-bred Geoff Wragg newcomer but will probably be better for this outing. It is interesting that James Given sends Telemachus here rather than attempt to win a nursery with this son of Bishop Of Cashel. He put in a fine effort at Lingfield on his latest start and has the ability to run well here.
