The Hannon yard have an excellent record in this so Boycie has to be respected after easily beating Stoked, who runs earlier, in a Lingfield claimer. North Creek won a couple of minor handicaps on Polytrack at Lingfield before just failing to complete a hat-trick there at this level, though he's had a break since April. Generalship didn't appear to last out over a mile so it was no surprise to see him drop back to this trip at Newbury when he couldn't quite hold the late thrust of the in-form Blackout. He's up in the weights but should go close though the vote goes to SAINTED. William Haggas' filly landed a Doncaster maiden in November on heavy going and didn't reappear until a couple of weeks ago when she could only finish second in a three-horse race at Leicester. She still looked very inexperienced that day and can go one better. Stars N Angels has been put up 5lb for her victory at Salisbury but comes here with a 6lb penalty and she'll need to find more.
