MIJAS PLAYA is nominated here ahead of the most interesting newcomers Dahakaa and Angel's Pursuit. The benefit of experience may be key here as Chris Dwyer's filly already has three runs under her belt, the best of which was perhaps the fifth-place to Star Rover at Chester, although all have been promising. She has no issues with the ground and can get her head in-front. Angel's Pursuit's price rose dramatically as a two-year-old and this well-related colt (brother to Dark Angel amongst others) is one to watch closely in the betting, whilst Dahakaa (out of a half-sister to Baharah) represents strong connections and is likely to know his job first time up. Papageno needs to improve on his first start, but the others look eminently opposable on debut and so we turn to Mijas Playa who can hit all the right notes.
