      Verdict

This looks a trappy race with the weights headed by Taffrail. Progressive as a three-year-old, he has struggled a bit this term and may need a little help from the Handicapper if he is to get his head in front again. King Flyer needs a strong pace to bring out the best in him, but he is not guarenteed to get one in this small field, while Typhoon Tilly has several decent efforts to his name, but has has gone over two years without getting his head in front. Kyda has been in good form on soft ground at a lower level, but she may find this company a bit too hot for her. Mamcazma has been in excellent form here and he still seems to be progressing. This faster ground will suit him better than the soft ground he face last time and looks certain to run well. However, the one to beat is Sharpcut, who is on the upgrade and although he takes a considerable step up in trip, it should suit him as he looks a resolute galloper.
