Jacobs Son is holding his form well and should be thereabouts once again, while L'Hermitage could be in the mix having unsurprisingly found the competition too hot in the Queens Vase at Ascot last time. He beat subsequent Windsor winner Achalas at Doncaster last month, but a couple of less exposed rivals make more appeal. Devoted looks likely to reverse recent running with Achalas on better terms and with further progress expected, but the vote goes to ELRASHEED. The latter showed improved form when stepped up to today's trip at Salisbury a fortnight ago and can find the extra needed to get his head in front here.
