    Verdict

A tricky puzzle to solve further complicated by the fact that Forward Thinker was engaged last night at Newcastle. Stable companion Amandine is very much one for the short-list, however, after a fine run behind Simply Breathless at Ascot. She’s only 2lb higher while Elysium Dream is only a pound higher than when scoring at Brighton last month, though is harder to predict. Salisbury winner HIGHLAND PASS has gone up another 3lb since second on the July Course here last month but William Cox claims 5lb again and Andrew Balding’s filly shouldn’t be far away.
