A winner at Thirsk three outings ago, Metal Madness was a distant second at Yarmouth last time. He is running well, but his run last time suggests that he may be in the handicapper's grip now and is opposed. Jollyhockeysticks ran well when fourth to the progressive Maghya at Newmarket, before reaching the frame on testing ground at Ripon. Any rain would help her chances. After winning at Bath three outings ago, Challow Hills has since run two sound races in defeat, staying on well to be second at Chepstow recently. Ground conditions will not be a problem and Challow Hills can return to winning form.
