Both Ashky and Poet's Lady won lower grade handicaps last time with the former scoring over track and trip. Queenlet won over 7f at Musselburgh and represents last year’s winning yard while My Silent Song went close at Pontefract. A couple of these look likely to improve handicapping for the first time though Nigwa drops back down in distance after winning at Ripon and LIGHT OF PEACE is preferred. The latter returns from a lay-off but finished well clear of a subsequent winner when runner-up on the July course here last time.
