Currently second favourite for the 2000 Guineas, MOST IMPROVED makes his seasonal debut. His position in the betting for the season's first Classic is down to his impressive third in the Group 1 Dewhurst Stakes over 7f here in October and, with that level of form already in the book, Brian Meehan's colt gets the vote as the trainer produced Delegator to win this on his return to action in 2009. The Hannon duo look the biggest threats though Ryan Moore partners Trumpet Major, who finished behind the selection in the Dewhurst, rather than Group 3 winner Cruis. Eastern Sun's participation suggests he's improved since his recent win at Kempton when Miblish was runner-up while Forgotten Hero and Mighty Ambition are others held in high regard and worth a second glance.
