        Verdict

        Dawn Sky broke his run of seconds with a win at Lingfield last time out and Michael Jarvis' colt is fancied to score again with that confidence boost under his belt. The selection actually has cheek-pieces on for the first time today to help him concentrate. He acts on any ground so won't mind how the weather goes, and with more improvement to come, he looks the one to beat. The main danger is Horseford Hill who drops back in trip today having not quite lasted home on soft ground at Sandown. David Elsworth's charge gets the weight-for-age allowance and deserves plenty of respect. Chocolate Caramel stays well so could do with a strong pace, whilst Active Asset is adaptable in regards to trip and should run his race. Kingscape has won two of his last three starts, however he steps up in trip here and needs to prove his stamina fully. All in all this looks competitive, and Dawn Sky is given the nod.
