RIVAS ROB ROY opened his account with a recent victory at Brighton and is taken to defy a 5lb rise and go in again now he’s got his head in front. Most of the opposition have been racing on the all-weather tracks with Marshal Dan scoring at Lingfield in February though Danzay was placed in a higher grade contest at Wolverhampton in the same month. Global Excel has returned a losing favourite over 6f in both starts in handicaps so far and steps back up in distance while Bajan Gold has a shout on his second at Newcastle but that was back in December.
