Verdict
Alqamar should be sharper for a recent outing over 1m4f here but he’ll need to improve on last year’s efforts over 1m6f if he’s to go close. Slight preference is for SHABEEB given he was third over today’s trip at Ascot last summer and caught the eye finishing with a late flourish over 1m4f at Epsom on his latest outing. Amazing Red has been raised 4lb for winning over 2m at Kempton but the Listed winner Moonrise Landing has a bit to prove now having finished tailed off at Ripon last month on only her second start since 2016. Soldier In Action is capable on his day and beat Shraaoh on a couple of occasions last term but Fire Jet has a tough task at this level.
