Salut d'Amour has every chance judged by official BHB ratings but seemed not to appreciate the step up from sprint distances when tried over a mile when last seen so preference is for Mostaqeleh, who gets the vote ahead of Speciosa. The last mentioned has to give weight away all round following her success in the Group 2 Rockfel Stakes last term and may not be up to the task, while Saabiq comes here fit from a recent run on the sand but needs to improve to trouble the selection. Andre Fabre's Sweet Travel has yet to win a race but has gone well in defeat, latterly in two Group 3 contests, and her trainer's runners always warrant respect. Wasseema could be of interest on her return especially with Richard Hills choosing her ahead of Mostaqeleh but the selection has an obvious chance on the evidence of last season's form and she gets the vote.
