      In depth

      Verdict

Whitehall will likely improve for last month’s reappearance with Ryan Moore back on board but Apache Blaze could only place off today’s mark last time having won at Nottingham before that. Midnight Wilde has a shout on his recent second here and Blame Culture is better than his latest effort on soft ground suggests. But a couple of these make their handicap debuts including Brighton runner-up Morning Skye though SPORTSWRITER makes most appeal having been narrowly beaten at Lingfield on his latest start and wearing a tongue-tie for the first time today.
