In depth

Verdict

SUBCONTINENT is the obvious one in this. He’s travelled north in search of an easier surface and should make the journey worthwhile if there is a strong enough pace, though ideally needs further than 2m. Bodacious Name was pulled up here in September when making his hurdling debut but deserves another chance. He is a fair stayer on the Flat though is another who would have been better suited by a stiffer test of stamina. It’s interesting that Derek Fox rides the lightly-raced hurdling debutant Scales Of Justice rather than bumper winner Vino's Choice and any market interest should be noted.
