With David Loder¿s team in fine fettle, Desert Destiny should take all the beating. The son of Desert Prince overcame some wayward tendencies to open his account over the course and distance last July, but flopped in the Group 3 Solario Stakes at Sandown on his final start. He has grown up a lot over the winter and the boy is now a man, so his undoubted potential could start to be realized here. Parkland was a model of consistency last season and if he performs as well as the rest of the Charlton team have done of late, he will be a threat. Lady Mytton has the assistance of Kieren Fallon but apart from that does not make a great deal of appeal, and the race really is there for the taking as far as Desert Destiny is concerned.
