Both Bonus and Cayman Breeze were also entered in the opening handicap on the card but take in what both sets of connections hope will be the easier option. Bonus should be straighter than most after chasing home Move It at Windsor and meets nothing of that caliber here so is on the short-list. Cayman Breeze will appreciate the step back up in trip after his fine run at Beverley last season and likes fast ground, while a watching brief should be kept on Mark Johnston¿s newcomer Lucayan Melody with the stable not yet firing on all cylinders. E C Too might need the run but the trainer does not have many here in non-handicaps so watch the market, and Patandon Girl has been working well on the gallops. Night Prospector shaped very well in two outings as a juvenile but not well enough to land the short odds at Yarmouth. His defeat was put down to the fast ground so conditions here will hardly be ideal and he may well start at a shorter price than he is entitled to. All in all it is a race of ifs and buts, with Bonus put up as the tentative selection.
