      Verdict

      John Gosden has won both previous renewals and DIYARI can complete the hat-trick. A son of Dubawi, he is out of a mare that won over 1m2f and was placed later in Listed company – the trip won’t be a problem. Godolphin’s Discovery Island is also by Dubawi but has already been gelded. Shandoz is out of a mare which has produced winners with her first three offspring to race so has to be of interest. Wild Thunder ran in the Superlative Stakes here after making a winning start at Goodwood and won’t go down without a fight, despite his penalty.
