Native Picture is the obvious one given Richard Hannon's dominance of the two year old division but there have been signs that Henry Cecil's juvenile team are getting into gear so PANOPTIC receives the vote with Sunset Avenue and Azzoom other newcomers to note. Those to have raced don't appear to be anything out of the ordinary and it would be no surprise were the well bred Panoptic to prove capable of scoring at the first time of asking with Warren Place sending out a winning newcomer earlier in the week. Native Picture is a half-sister to Kingsgate Native and bred to be precocious and it would be no great surprise to see her come out on top with the yard enjoying such a fantastic season. Sunset Avenue has a decent American pedigree but a number of the yard's juveniles have needed their initial outing but she's well worth noting along with Azzoom who is related to the smart juvenile Levera and from a yard with a good crop of juveniles. This race has fallen to some above average performers in the past and this year's leading candidates have the potential to be decent; the market, as ever, will be useful but, without sight of that, Panoptic is the call.
