Verdict

Grandad's World reappeared to score over this trip at Pontefract but disappointed when odds-on over the minimum trip at Hamiliton though may have found the ground too tacky. The front-running Captain Colby, a half-brother to Benbaun, has won twice at 5f but never raced over this trip while Properus, a winner on soft ground at Redcar in October, made an eye-catching return to action here last month after missing the break. BONNIE GREY made a winning debut at Warwick last May and only contested Listed or Group races subsequently. She performed with credit in them all and on her reappearance in the Fred Darling so looks the one to be on.
