Atlantic Story, Thakafaat and Caly Dancer all look capable of fighting out this decent nursery, while Red Affleck is another danger, but we will side with Atlantic Story to improve and take the prize. The selection is another good chance on the card for Godolphin, and he should be just about spot on for this step up to a mile after two previous runs, the latter a winning one at Epsom over seven furlongs. He wouldn't want much rain really but provided the going has good in the description he looks capable of finding a fair bit more and following up. Thakafaat was a winner over seven furlongs here with cut in the ground last time and she should also stay a mile now. She would again prefer more rain and if she gets it she can be a serious threat. Caly Dancer is another who acts with cut and he steps up from six furlongs here. Breeding suggests he will get the trip, so don't rule him out as he does not have much to find. Meanwhile Red Affleck was suited by front running tactics last time and that style of running could suit here, especially if the rains do come. He would need to improve to win but there is no reason why he can't find more, so watch for market confidence. Even so, we think Atlantic Story is the one this time.
