Captain Coke and BATED BREATH both come into this having won their last three starts but the former trained by Michael Jarvis has harshly gone up 6lb for his win here over five furlongs and he may not be suited by the extra furlong today so a better bet looks to be the latter, who looked very impressive when successful at Haydock last month and Roger Charlton's colt can complete a four timer and win again. Saeed Bin Suroor's Dafeef has just one too good in conditions races at Newbury in his last two starts and he has claims but seems a shade high in the weights, while James Fanshawe's Deacon Blues has harshly gone up 3lb for his narrow defeat behind Lujeanie over course and distance last time. Michael Bell's Gramercy has not surprisingly been punished by the handicapper for his win at Ascot recently but cannot be discounted in a race taken to go to Bated Breath.
