Although Sunday Silence was a hugely popular sire in Japan his progeny have not really sparkled on these shores and there may be some value to be gained in opposing Derby entry Sunday Symphony with Rosecliff, who has a more immediate target at Ascot next month. Others to note in the betting include: Tamatave, who looks to be Godolphin's second string but also holds a Derby entry. Notability also catches the eye on breeding even though King's Best has only produced one winner over this trip up to date, while support for Motivator looks assured with the champion jockey booked for the ride. However, the selection is bred along similar lines to Fallon's mount and makes slightly more appeal as his yard have been back amongst the winners of late. Martin Dwyer has also enjoyed a good little spell over the last couple of weeks and, as Rosecliff may escape the attentions of the betting market with so many similarly well-bred types coming into opposition, he looks the value call in a maiden that looks sure to produce at least a handful of winners in time.
