Verdict

SAINT GEORGE ran a highly creditable race in the Queen’s Vase at Royal Ascot and that will ensure he will be the one to beat in the opening race of Newmarket’s July Festival. Charlie Appleby saddled the winner of this race in 2021 with Yibir and Castle Way attempts to graduate from a Listed success on his return to action in May. Tower Of London is fresh from an emphatic victory in the Ulster Derby at Down Royal and is unquestionably far better than a mere handicapper. A number of his connections are part-owners of Klondike and Andrew Balding’s charge looked to be learning all the time during the Cocked Hat Stakes at Goodwood.
